It’s debatably not that simple to import or export calendar information from your iPhone or iPad to other tools or devices. For example, data from your Google calendar cannot be “simply” imported into your iCloud calendar. The best you can do is use your Gmail account to add Google Calendar to your iPhone.
The exporting of calendar data experiences a similar issue. You cannot “export” your calendar data from an iPhone or iPad to another device. Although exporting is not possible, you can send an event or share the calendar with a small group of friends. Not an easy possibility, at least.
How to Export Your iPhone/iCloud iPad Calendar
However, you can use iCloud to export a calendar from your iPhone or iPad. This is how to accomplish it:
(We’re presuming you sync your calendars with iCloud. Since we rely on iCloud to export the calendar, if you aren’t doing it right now, you should.)
Prior to starting: Make sure to sync your iPhone’s calendars with iCloud. To do this, turn on Calendar under Settings iCloud.
Step #1: Launch the web browser and go to iCloud.com.
Step #2: Use your Apple ID to log in.
Step #3: Open the calendar by clicking on it.
Step #4: Click the options icon to the right of the calendar’s name in the side panel.
Step #5: Tick the box next to Public Calendar.
Step #6: As you click, a webcal URL will appear. Steal the URL.
Step #7: Copy the URL and paste it in a new tab, but change webcam to HTTP. To open the URL, press go.
Step #8. You are about to download a file. This is the calendar file that includes all pertinent information. Add the “.ics” extension to the file since it is often an ICS file.
By doing this, your Mac will open it by default (or in supported tools).
Currently, there is no other way to export your iPhone/iPad calendars in their entirety. Although you cannot directly import them into Google Calendar or Outlook, you can absolutely do so using the downloaded file.
